Welcome to Insights from Minneapolis 08! This is a blog I have created to chronical my first trip to a Republican National Convention. I will be in Minneapolis Minnesota from Sunday August 31st thru Friday morning September 5th. During that time I hope to blog every day with my insights and comments from the convention. I am not a delegate...but a guest of one of Michigan's Alternates. I will not be staying in the hotel set aside for the Michigan delegation, but I will spend a lot of time with my friends from the 11th Congressional District of Michigan (Represented by Congressman Thad McCotter)
